Thank you for this post, great way to make 1,000 AA miles if you haven't signed up for this promotion. Also, people can download the search tool and make additional 150 AA miles a month if you do any kind of internet searching, you get 1 mile per 3 searches (up to 150 miles), easy way to keep your account active.
Thanks! Sign up me, hubby & the kids.
FYI...if you use Google Chrome you can't download the toolbar. You need to use Internet Explorer or Firefox
You don't need to download toolbar for just the 1000 points. Just register and watch video.
This offer is not valid for existing AAdvantage eShoppingSM members
Which my 4-yr old isn't. Yet.
From their facebook page:
Clearly not as good as 1000 points for nothing, but debatably better than 0 points.
Assuming you purchase from a merchant that earns 1mi/$, it'll cost you $0.13/mi. For 2mi/$, 11.5 cents/mi. Etc.
I signed up about a month ago and a friend of mine signed up last week...bummer.
So for the existing members, you don't have to do anything but spend $75 total between today and May 13th and you'll get the 500?
According to the terms, the $75 can be from multiple purchases. I use Groupon and Restaurant.com enough to get 500 miles closer to lifetime Gold . . .
Good to know -- I wasn't sure if it had to be $75 in a single purchase.
On the 500 mile promotion, I should note OfficeMax has a number of "100% back in OfficeMax credit" items at the moment for their loyalty program members. One would have to wait three months for the reward credits, but I used a reward credit I just received in the hope of qualifying outright for the promotion's $75 threshold. Haven't had trouble receiving PriorityClub points when redeeming the quarterly reward cards online in the past . . .
Has anyone seen their miles post yet?
I doubt it... The AAdvantage shopping mall is slow as hell when posting miles. I have actual purchases from early April that have yet to post.
