Sometime you forget to carry something, sometimes happen unexpected with you or sometimes your trip might hurt you. You think you have it all planned, well think again. Welcome to Milepoint @reynas

Remember that forums are all about interacting with the community and not just for posting teasers to draw people to external sites. The link and post are fine enough, but maybe post some of those ten mistakes and see what members think ;)

Looks like the OP was a hit 'n run spammer as others that have shown up on MP recently.

At least they weren't selling vitamins and 'enhancers'.

We have enough vitamins, minerals, and other healthiness goodies at our house (with all the iron in many of them, we're careful walking near magnets), and as for the enhancers, our enhancing is still accomplishable without any need for the enhanceabilities thought to be needed to need them from any temporary source, such as it may be. ;)

The link is safe and the tips are decent. "Wasting too much time taking photos", "Relying on tour guides", "Fearing street food", and "Wearing bad footwear" are some. The latter goes directly against what @Jeanne23 stands for, but solid for the rest of us.

Random bonus fact: The site linked to is located in India.

"Wasting too much time taking photos," is a ridiculous and poor tip. It's through the photographs (and videos) that I've taken during my travels that allow me to relive the experiences whenever I want.

There is a balance like everything else. I go to quite a bit of concerts and the amount of people who watch the performance through a 4" screen is on the rise. I believe this article is just reminding people to experience their destination along with the photos, not to quit taking photos/video completely.
