CNN: 10 things to do on Oahu for $10 or less
I have not been to Hawaii, so I cannot comment...
Cannot comment either, but I like it!
I'm surprised there are things to do for <$10
All I crave once I land in Honolulu is a glass of Mai-Tai from the Mai-Tai Bar at the Royal Hawaiian. Until I realized that they were $14 a pop I could have bought a bottle of rum for that price tag!
Oooh, I will add my own suggestions (some overlap the general ones in the article):
Shave Ice: Waiola shave ice is the BEST! I go to the one just off of Kapahulu.
Also cheap delicious eats: Ono Seafood for poke bowls, acai bowls at Diamond Head Cove Health Bar, Spam musubi from Hygienic Market, north shore shrimp trucks, Ted's Bakery at Sunset beach
Cheap or free stuff to do: Farmers Market on Saturdays at Kapiolani Community College, Snorkel at Hanauma Bay, hikes (so many!)
Pearl Harbor and USS Arizona are definitely worth seeing.
After you drink too much, go to Jack in the Box and order food to soak up the grease - under $10 (which may make you evacuate the alcohol contents early, too.).
