    I went ahead and rebooked a stay next week using the mobile for the extra points. Kind of a pian to rebook but not enough of a pain not to go for the extra points. Yay Hyatt! I only wish they would do points and cash over the mobile as well.

    When I try to book my next stays using app I get an error message saying that this conflicts with Hotel policy. But I am not doing anything besides trying to book "my Elite rate" which hardly could be illegal.

    My understanding is that it is anyone who downloads the app. Email not required.

    Yes, I assume this should be non-targeted, so all HGP members would be eligible to earn the bonus, whether the email is sent or not. or more likely, the email could be sent to you within the next few days..:p

    Yeah, i have a problem, my previous reservation was made on a best rate guarantee rate, and i can't get the same rate now by booking and rebooking..;)

    I tried to rebook a stay for Monday on the App and get an error "Conflict with hotel guarantee policy". I deleted my reservation online in case this was the conflict. I tried with my corporate rate as well as the elite rate...only $.20 difference. Same error...never could get it to book. Tried on my iPhone and my iPad. Any ideas?

    I started a conversation with the Hyatt Gold Passport Concierge to ask them what we needed to do to fix this. I will let you know once I hear something (or, my guess is they may post the answer to this thread.)

    I read on TOBB that this error is caused by using a Hyatt credit card. Changed to a different credit card and it worked. Go figure that the App will not let you book with a Hyatt credit card...hoping they fix this.

    That is kind of funny that there own Hyatt Chase credit card would not work! Who has heard of that?

    Just came here with the same issue....trying to use the Hyatt CC. Silly Hyatt


    Edit: just tried with a different card Via the app and it went through fine. Do you guys think that @Hyatt Gold Passport Concierge will be able help get us the points we're gonna miss by not using the Hyatt CC?

    What if we book using any old CC, then on arrival or departure change it to the Hyatt Visa ;) ?!

    You can still reserve using the Hyatt Visa card, the problem with the app is if you select the credit card stored in your profile as the Hyatt Visa card. It's just a visa card, so you can store it again as a regular Visa credit card, and that will work.

    So, for example, go into the app, make a rez, select using new credit card, and enter the number for your Hyatt Visa, and check the store this credit card info. The rez will go through, and you can use it for future reservations.

    At the end of the day, you might have the same card stored 2x in your profile, once as "Hyatt Visa Card ending in xxxx" and again as "Visa credit card ending in xxxx". Just select "Visa credit card ending in xxxx" and it will go through.

    I just re-made 4 future reservations this way, once they told me what the bug was.

    Stupid bug. Apparently they forgot to test it with their own credit card as the category.

    But as others have said, you can always switch the card to a different one at checkin.

    right .. I have a couple that would be difficult to change also. Be careful out there. Cancel the old one after you make the new one and you are sure it's correct.

    thanks for the advice ! Yes, had been trying to see if I could get an equivalent BRG rate again, but couldn't. There was one rate a little higher than the one I booked, and if i value Hyatt points as being worth about 2 cents, it works out to be about the same, higher rate, but 1,000 points more...will be staying put as it doesn't make much sense to go through everything again for a marginal gain..;)

    Mahalo! Still not fixed--booking with another Visa did work (too lazy to add Hyatt visa again). Hope they fix it soon.

    Unable to login in Hyatt app on android devices. Once click sign in, the app crashes and I get a notification that "Unfortunately, Hyatt has stopped"
    I have tried it on 3 different android devices yesterday evening and today and it is still happening. Also re-installed the app on one of the devices and still no success.
    Anybody else is experiencing the same?

    This just started happening to me as well. The app was working perfectly fine and now it's doing that when I try to log in.
