Low-cost airline Ryanair is to launch a £9 seat sale on more than 1,000 routes across Europe from midnight tonight (Monday, 5 September 2011).

The sale will see one million £9 seats become available from UK airports such as London Stansted and Leeds-Bradford, for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in late October.
The "all in" fares include all taxes and charges, but must be booked before midnight on Thursday, 8 September, 2011.

The travel deal means that any passengers who choose to avoid Ryanair fees for checked luggage and priority boarding, as well as by paying for flights with a MasterCard Prepaid (to avoid credit-card charges), can fly for the advertised price of £9.

“Only Ryanair sells Europe’s lowest fares with a no fuel surcharge guarantee,” said Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara.
“From midnight tonight, passengers can book these £9 seats for travel on over 1,000 European destinations in late October.”

Exact travel dates for passengers to benefit from low-cost flights to destinations such as Pisa, Frankfurt and Stockholm will be available on the Ryanair website from midnight.
Ryanair is also currently running two new promotions aimed at golfers heading to Portugal or Ireland this autumn. Those looking to book a flight to either country for a golf break in November or December, booking before 30 September, will be allowed to take their golf bag with them free of charge.

Last month Ryanair reported that its year-on-year traffic figures for the month grew by 6 per cent; 8.08 million passengers flew with the airline in July of this year alone
