Does anyone monitor what's on the splash page?
The splash page today (as it has for the past 4 weeks) features an offer from Delta headlined, "Delta SkyMiles Award Sale July 2018: As Low as 40,000 SkyMiles Round Trip To or From Asia".
When you read the not-so-small print you learn that in order to take advantage of the offer, "you must purchase your ticket and book your reservation no later than Wednesday, July 11, 2018". Unless the splash page is intended as a historical archive, shouldn't someone be deleting old dead offers?
And speaking of old, dead offers, lower on the splash page is "Delta SkyMiles Award Sale May 2018: Europe For as Low as 48,000 SkyMiles," an offer that expired on May 16, 2018.
I had several posts disappear. I posted and not one response. I makes me wonder, who is managing this site?
Gold Gold Platinum
I hate to beat a dead horse (er, site), but the splash page is certainly not encouraging to visitors who might stop by in search of news, information, or help.
Today (1 May 2019) the headline is "June 2018 Means Policy and Award Changes at Alaska Airlines," a story dated a year ago.
Does anyone from HoM monitor this site? Have they just given up and abandoned it, or is there some thought of revitalizing it?
Congrats to Inside Flyer!
I came to the site and was amazed to find the splash page current! All articles seemed less than two days old. What a change.
Thanks for revitalizing this, I hope similar changes are not far off.
