Hyatt Place

Hyatt Place

A recent consumer survey conducted for Hyatt Place found that 90 percent of those responding said they do not separate their personal and professional lives and 50 percent said it was not unusual for them to simultaneously be involved in personal and professional activities. Fifty-seven percent travel with children and 40 percent of those responding said they would forego sex, coffee or use of their cell phone in exchange for a good night’s sleep while on the road.

With these findings in mind, the new Hyatt Place brand is being described as a “lifestyle” hotel. Guestrooms feature 42 inch flat-panel HDTVs, the hotel brand’s signature bed, an oversized sofa-sleeper and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Starbucks coffee is featured at breakfast that includes hot entree choices or you can opt for the free continental breakfast. Guests can also order made-to-order entrees, sandwiches, soups, salads and pizza 24/7 via a touch screen menu in the guest kitchen or from the gallery host.
