It sure is. I applied and got the dreaded we're thinking about it response. When the I'm sorry letter arrived a few days later, I gave them a call asking them to move some of my credit around.
Hmmm they said. Let me talk to my Supervisor. 😉 I'm expecting the card any day, followed by a cool crisp 40,000 miles that will post to my account. This is my 2nd USAirways cc.

BRT 18 is June 10, 2017 in Brooklyn. Sold out.
WineDo is June 11. Sold out!

I got the card, made a couple of purchases and paid the bill including the annual fee. Roughly how long before points post?

Something witty will eventually occupy this space. Give me time.

I've used the card several times since early October. As of today, I'm waiting for the points to post. I've started checking daily. 😉

I went and rechecked my payment and it wasn't that long ago, I am probably just getting edgy with the end of the year coming and the end of USAir too.

I went ahead and applied for additional US Airways and Alaska Airlines cards today and got them both - I already have both cards. I probably should be churning those accounts but when they give multiple cards its just easier to apply and keep the old card open.

Did it always say "This offer is available to new Cardmembers only." in their fine print? (obviously, many of us have had more than one card in the past).

I don't always drink beer, but when I do I will certainly NOT drink Bud Light.

Don't know but my wife is an existing card member and was instantly approved today, another friend applied an just got a pending message. FYI my AS points have already posted from my approval on Nov 18th - bonus on card approval no purchase necessary!

But did you wife confirm the terms/ ask the agent on the phone if she would get the 50k after payment of the annual fee?

I was instantly approved for my second card, but my husband got a application under review. I'm assuming he will be denied because he already has one. Anyone approved for a second card when they have to review manually?

well, I'd just be worried you got approved but didn't get the bonus. I always call later and confirm!
