Update 2: 3rd card denied. 🙁

Even if it isn't churnable, doesn't US Airways offer a bunch of different credit card options?

This is the best offer that I am aware of.
No minimum spend.
Fee waived.
An easy 40K.

It definitely is a nice offer. I got 35,000 miles for the card last year.

I haven't tried for this particular card, but have you considered calling in to bump the bonus?

They may give you the additional 5000 just for mentioning the better offer. 😉

I got this card for the Grand Slam this year. Easy Hit and the 40k miles sure looked good on top of my GS earnings. I'm thinking about trying to get another one in my next app-fest to add to my swelling US account. I will let you know if I'm approved.

They don't. I (and several others) have tried, to no avail.

Several years ago the card was churnable. I've had it multiple times in the past. I was up in the middle of the night last night so I applied for it again.

Was your previous US card active or closed, when you just applied?
