I don't know where else to post this and of course, I can comment on their blogs but that's not as fun...

I am sitting in the Delta Sky Club in JFK with free wifi and booze thanks to the Amex Platinum card I got through one of their blogs. I am enjoying this time in the lounge as I await my flight to CPH which I also found through their blogs for a killer deal (It's no $150 deal but from TPA a/i is $310 which is ridiculous).

As a newbie, I'm currently stoked that I found this forum - and so thanks to the Pointsguy and the Frugal Travel Guy for showing me the way.

Then, thanks to forum members here who have already given me some ideas and more importantly to SirRagnar for ideas on what to do once I get to CPH. I hope this trip will be as epic as I already imagine it will be...

The least I can do, btw, is link so here:

Oh, you're already on your way 🙂

I just asked in the other thread about when you would be here. How long is the stay?

And oh yea, those are great blogs. I am subscribing to Pointsguy's RSS feed - the only RSS feed I use.

And welcome to MP btw, I hope we can hook up for a beer in CPH one of the coming days when you're here!

The Frugal Travel Guy blog was my gateway drug. I found it a few months back and have quickly been racking up the miles and cheap flights (I'm off on a trip to MAD on this same airfare deal next week).

The points guy is also an awesome site. I especially like the top deals page. It's been a great resource.

Have fun in CPH!

confession: Sometimes, if I am up late, I'll stay up the extra little bit to see the Rick's new post at 2:05 am (central)...

Congrats on your trip. You're learning from the pro's -no doubt about it. I cut my travel teeth on Frugaltravelguy and his great advise. Plus you'll learn a lot from Gary at http://www.boardingarea.com/blogs/viewfromthewing...and then of course you can start viewing more boardingarea blogs....so much to read and so little time left to travel. And then there are some DO's....warning, warning...it is an addiction!

A good RSS reader that takes the content offline makes for great reading in-flight. 😀

It's not exactly an RSS reader, but I really like instapaper for loading up all my devices with articles and blog posts. It works with an iphone, ipad, android, and kindle.

Doesn't one need to be online to access the RSS? Most of my flights I don't have access to internet.

Not that I'm aware of. But I would think there is some sort off offline RSS reader for the BlackBerry users somewhere.
