Are we scaring away the “newbies” with our prevalent humorous exchanges?

Why not?

I hope that you are not suggesting that the Dovster is a chiseler just like you...

By the way, that is not an insult...

Good thinking! What we really need over here is arturo.

In fact, there was the train station in plain view for all of us to see.

There just happened to be a pesky canal in the way, that’s all...

I had made a vow to Canarsie that I would never mention that incident again on FT. But this is not FT and the subject has again been called to our attention.

But it appears that time heals all wounds and Canarsie has repainted the incident in his own mind to remember as the most pertinent fact that the train station was in plain view. We all could see it but there was neither hide nor hair of the bridge over the canal that had been promised us by our "Guide."

That being said, we did make the train (by the skin of our teeth), nobody was more upset than was Canarsie, and the episode has gone down as one of the Legends of FT history.

This post definitely deserves some smileys and I do request that one of the Guides inform the operators that the smileys that they have provided are basically illegible and unusable. Right now I am too lazy to go over to FT to import some pertinent ones.

What, me worry?

I too well remember that incident from many years ago. :p

And hey, monitor, do you need any "Guiding" or are you hanging around this thread to very deservedly tweak Canarsie?

This thread is a clear indication of what happens when MP guides are allowed to post.

(if only our guides were as intelligent as that dog).

Relax .............. smile.............. enjoy................... and be grateful 🙂

Quite the statement. Some of those other articles seems to get my attention more than the dog. Maybe I am guiding myself in the wrong direction!;)
