Yeah I don't do enough to justify cost of EF/KVS/etc

Also my main program so far has been UA ... I have enough miles now in AA that I will start playing with BA/QF/AA for next year's travels.

I personally find the QF site the easiest and most accurate for CX. Didn't know about JL with the count though. That's cool. May play around.
I've had most luck finding single F seats closer than C seats. On the flight to HKG almost never see Y or C when close in. They either sell on their own or are redeemed.

Btw, not sure you can route BKK to SIN (stopover)to HKG it ORD on CX metal. You would need to probably book a separate flight or air Asia or some other LCC. All CX flights go back to HKG IIRC. Singapore is south of both HKG and BKK.
