Impossible to tell truth about AAs motives on carry ons-certainly can’t believe anything they say but of course the major story here is not just the degradation and hassle it’s the often sky high price they are extorting.

Has anyone seen the ruination of STL-once a vibrant hub of grand old TWA-where you could fly to the ends of the earth from-now literally a ghost town as the majors have ceded it over to Southwest and Southwest has ceded over various hubs to their partnercarteliers. What would a market aviation system look like in the US. Certainly nothing like this grotesqury forced upon us by Wall Street. Imagine paying through the nose for the cattle car ordeal that Hayte operates each day. Still don’t understand the silence of politicians who should be calling for antitrust every day.
