Subject: You mean the world to us. That's why you are invited first.

We're about to look different.

Join the celebration as Milepoint becomes what it was always meant to be. It's our time to upgrade the online experience for road warriors / frequent flyers and if you have the miles, the time, the interest and ability to be close to New York City on Friday night, October 23, I'd like to thank you personally for your support and take the time to explain the path that Milepoint has taken.

Milepoint will never be the same ... and if you are interested, Y-E-S, we'll announce the new third tier of membership.

If it works for you, please go here and register:

If not, no worries as there will be plenty of information online to guide you through the new Milepoint.

And here's to nothing less than a good weekend ahead for you.

Cheers,

Lets hope it's as cool as IHG's "Spire" and includes an 800 Porn/customer service number.

I prefer a Pizza level. Like you know, regardless of where you are in the world, you dial a hotline and you'll get an air dropped pizza.

I'm just being too hopeful about this.

Ok back to seriousness. Maybe it's a Diamond level about Platinum?

How can you forget the Gold uproar that led to that last statement being added several months into the game.... ๐Ÿ˜€

What are the current unknowns:

1) Would the new level (Platinum) requirement be "low" enough that a fair bit of the original members be automatically qualify once the level is official. That might mean promoting folks who are no longer active participants on MP. Alternatively, if the new level is Sky high and few if none even qualify based on some of the crazy stats I see here, then the new level might not be feasibly attainable for folks who joined in the more recent times.

2) (My favourite) What would be this level's welcome gift ๐Ÿ˜€

Fortunately, we need not wait long to find out. ๐Ÿ™‚

I think your first point is really interesting. Reflects what I'm thinking too.

How is that not the paid membership version 3, nothing to do with Milepoint forum status?

What's if it's a massive devaluation of MP membership? Lol

Forget levels, I'm more interested in the whole "upgrade" bit. Milepoint has lost much of my interest of late as it feels more like a blog aggregator than a community. Is that going to change?
