Recently, the AAdvantage program changed the name of the PlanAAhead award ticket to “MilesAAver.” To help get the name-change off on the right foot, AAdvantage has temporarily changed the redemption rate for one of its most popular award destinations.

Through May 31, AAdvantage members can book an economy-class award ticket for travel through Aug. 31, from the continental United States (including Alaska), Canada, or the Caribbean to Cancun for only 25,000 miles (normally 30,000 miles).
