The choice of airport is more important as far as business travelers are concerned than the choice of airline, according to research by SAS. The Scandinavian carrier surveyed 500 members of its EuroBonus program, and found that three-quarters of them based their travel arrangements on a particular airport preference rather than the airline.

Sixty-five percent of business travelers revealed that speed and efficiency of airport check-in procedures is crucial to their travel. And most prefer to maximize time with the family when having to travel on business, with 79 percent of respondents traveling from home to their departure airport, rather than going directly from the office.
