Earn Up to 25,004 AAdvantage Miles When Opening a New Account With Sprint

Simply register for this promotion by…

  • Entering your AAdvantage membership number at the bottom
  • Pressing the Submit button
  • Entering your:
    • Name as it appears on your AAdvantage account
    • E-mail address
    • Sprint active mobile number
    • Sprint account number

…within 30 days of activating your new Sprint account and mobile telephone to earn your AAdvantage miles. The 20,000 AAdvantage miles will appear in your account as a single deposit within ten weeks, as only one 20,000 AAdvantage miles award is available per AAdvantage member and per new Sprint account.

As you earn monthly loyalty AAdvantage miles, you will see 417 AAdvantage miles deposited monthly for as long as your Sprint account remains active and in good standing — for a total of up to 5,004 AAdvantage miles in one year.

Members of Admiral Club can earn one 1,000 AAdvantage miles award with a new Sprint account with one new mobile telephone line activation when the line remains active for 30 days.

The names on both your AAdvantage account and Sprint account must match to be eligible; and the account must have at least one mobile telephone active on the account. AAdvantage miles are earned per account and not per subscriber. Adding or transferring a new line of service to an existing Sprint account does not make the account eligible for the 20,000 AAdvantage miles award. Current customers with existing Sprint accounts are only eligible for the monthly loyalty AAdvantage miles offer.

If you and your spouse are both members of the AAdvantage frequent flier loyalty program and you open an account, only one 20,000 AAdvantage mileage award occurs. The program applies AAdvantage miles at the account level for each line. If you are a Sprint customer who is planning to add a line for your child, you are not eligible for the 20,000 AAdvantage mileage award; but you are eligible to earn loyalty miles awards of up to 5,004 AAdvantage miles per year.

The Sprint offer for AAdvantage members is not available to business accounts; and AAdvantage miles cannot be divided between accounts or lines. Unless specified, AAdvantage miles earned through this promotion do not count toward elite level status qualification or AAdvantage Million Miler status.

When you lease or buy your mobile telephone and select your rate plan, tell the Sprint representative that you would like to participate in the Sprint offer for AAdvantage members.

Sprint Discount Program and Other Offers

The AAdvantage member offer cannot be combined with the Sprint Discount Program — which offers a discount on select regularly priced Sprint monthly data service to employees, students and members of participating companies, universities and organizations — as you must choose between offers. If you elect to participate in this offer, your Sprint Discount Program discount will be discontinued.

As a new customer, you can also take advantage of other promotional offers when you activate a new account and non-discounted mobile telephone line — including 50 Percent Off or Better Choice plans.

This offer may not be combined with other offers; and this offer also excludes:

  • Corporate Liable accounts
  • Activations at other retailers
  • Upgrades
  • Replacements
  • New line activations from Sprint entities or providers associated with Sprint — for example, Virgin Mobile USA, Boost Mobile, Sprint Prepaid and Assurance.

Select Terms and Conditions

Monthly charges exclude taxes and fees; and Sprint surcharges — which are not taxes — including:

  • Universal Service Fund charge of up to 17.9 percent, which varies quarterly
  • Up to $2.50 administration fee
  • 40 cents reg. per line per month
  • Fees by area — approximately five to 20 percent

The activation fee can be up to $30.00 per line.

The Sprint Unlimited Freedom Plan includes:

  • Unlimited domestic Long Distance calling
  • Texting and data with mobile optimized video
  • Gaming and music streaming
  • Five gigabytes of high-speed Mobile Hotspot, VPN and P2P data — when exceeding five gigabytes, MHS, VPN and P2P usage are then limited to speeds of two gigabytes.

There is an additional charge for third-party content and downloads. Select international services are included, as the plan includes the Sprint Global Roaming option and is not available for tablets or mobile broadband devices. Available on discounted mobile telephones for an additional $25.00 per month per line.

Credit approval is required.

If you use more than 23 gigabytes of data during a billing cycle, you will be de-prioritized during times and places where the Sprint network is constrained. To improve data experience for the majority of users, throughput may be limited, varied or reduced on the network; and prohibited network use rules apply. Sprint may terminate service if off-network roaming usage in a month exceeds:

  1. 800 minutes or a majority of minutes; or
  2. 100 megabytes or a majority of kilobytes

Other restrictions, terms and conditions apply.

Summary

If you decide to go with Sprint as a new service with which to use your mobile telephone, first ascertain as to whether or not going with the Sprint Discount Program would actually be a better deal for you — but be aware that the process can take up to three days before you find out whether or not you are confirmed for eligibility to enjoy the discount; as well as what exactly is your discount.

Should you decide instead to take advantage of this offer, realize that you will not see your 20,000 AAdvantage miles for up to ten weeks; and a year must elapse with your account in good standing to see the remaining 5,000 AAdvantage miles — meaning that it will take at least a year to earn enough AAdvantage miles for award travel on a domestic trip within the United States in the economy class cabin.

Of course, those 20,000 AAdvantage miles would also be good to top off your account…

…but you should ultimately choose your mobile telephone service based on overall value — the quality and cost of service as two factors — and not on frequent flier loyalty program miles.
