Summary

If you are interested in award sales offered by Delta Air Lines, knowing that there will be SkyMiles award sales other than the new monthly flash sale recently announced by Delta Air Lines can potentially be rewarding in terms of savings.

This is the last award chart publicly available from Delta Air Lines pertaining to the amount of SkyMiles needed to be redeemed in the economy class cabin. Click on the chart for an enlarged view.

According to this chart — and assuming that the discount is based on what was known as a Level 1 award — the savings for a round trip economy class ticket between the United States and Europe is at least 11,000 SkyMiles…

This is the last award chart publicly available from Delta Air Lines pertaining to the amount of SkyMiles needed to be redeemed in the business class cabin. Click on the chart for an enlarged view.

…and according to this chart — again, assuming that the discount is based on what was known as a Level 1 award — the savings for a round trip business class ticket between the United States and Europe is at least 23,000 SkyMiles.

If you are able to procure those tickets to the destination in Europe where you want to go, the savings may well be worth the trip.
