On the second day of the InsideFlyer 12 Days of Christmas Gift Giveaway today is a prize in the form of a Silvercar voucher good for two days, of which there will be five winners — and you could be one of them. The value of this voucher is $250.00.

  • The reservation must be booked by no later than Friday, July 1, 2016
  • The voucher has a maximum use of one time per customer
  • You must be at least 22 years old to rent with a valid driver’s license, credit card and insurance

Terms and Conditions

You must be one of the lucky five winners from a random drawing of readers of InsideFlyer who register to participate in the daily draw. Each of the five winners will be notified directly. The gift can not be exchanged for cash. By participating, you also agree to some small rules for the InsideFlyer 12 Days of Christmas gifts:

Each day a winner is selected and will be notified directly via email. In the event a daily winner has not responded within 7 days of the email notification, that gift will be lost to them and another winner chosen at random after the giveaway has ended. You may only enter once daily to be eligible.

When registering for the daily giveaway, your email address will not be disclosed to third parties or sold or displayed on InsideFlyer. By entering the daily drawing, you agree to receive newsletters from InsideFlyer. You can easily unsubscribe at any time.

Prizes are personal and non transferable. Note that it is the sole responsibility of winners for paying any taxes, etc that may be applicable in connection with the shipment of prizes.

InsideFlyer reserves the right to exclude persons from the giveaway suspected of entering more than once daily, applying an unjustified advantage or sabotaging the gift giving spirit on InsideFlyer.

The winner(s) will be chosen by InsideFlyer at random from all the day’s participants. Winner(s) will be notified and will be posted on InsideFlyer and in our newsletter. We accept no liability for technical errors that may arise in connection with this giveaway and reserve the right to exclusively distribute the number of prizes specified in the giveaway. We use random.org and its random numbering system to decide the winner.

InsideFlyer has the exclusive right to make final decisions about the winning gifts, participation, etc. If you have further questions about the giveaway, please feel free to contact us.

The Silvercar voucher is sponsored by Silvercar.

I THOUGHT THIS WAS FREDDY AWARDS BUT IT TURNS OUT THIS IS INSIDE FLUER WHINGING ME TO REGISTER FO RHTIS AND THAT THAT I AM NOT INTERESTED.
IF YOU WISH ME TO PARTICIPATE AND INVEST MY TIME IN FREDDY AWARDS THEN WELCOME SO BUT DO NOT TRY THE USUAL OF GETTING PEOPLE TO SIGN UP FOR SOMETHING WE DID NOT ASK IN THE FORST PLACE

    • Randy Petersen says

The Freddie Awards is welcoming InsideFlyer back as a sponsor of the awards as was mentioned. And it was noted that InsideFlyer had some offers that might be of interest to voters, similar to previous updates and offers from other sponsors. It takes roughly $200,000 annually to support the voice of frequent flyers via the Freddie Awards and we’re very pleased that organizations like American Express, InsideFlyer, Gogo, Priority Pass and others step up to help makes the awards happen. Quite sorry if you thought this was the Freddie Awards—consider this an apology.

We are glad to be able to remind you that Freddie Award balloting will begin on Feb 15 and we look forward to hearing once again to the voice of the frequent flyer.

  2. YULtide says

Nice promotion, but of course the actual twelve days of Christmas start on the 25th and run until 5 January.

    • Brian Cohen says

True, YULtide…but people will probably be too busy enjoying time with their families or traveling — both of which are important and should not be interrupted.

    • Randy Petersen says

We have been aware of the actual 12 Days timeline and support that. As Brian noted, the time from Christmas Day through the new year is typically personal time and we really want to support time with family, friends and fellow flyers without having to come to InsideFlyer each day. Granted, we’d love to have you but we’d love to see you get rested up because you’ve got a lot of travel ahead in 2016. As well, many other organizations ranging from Lonely Planet to Vogue magazine to Microsoft, Starbucks, Amazon and Costco all do similar 12 Days / Deals offers prior to Christmas Day. Most fellow frequent flyers I know do not travel much in Dec as they usually have their elite requalification completed by then! Here’s to great holidays for you—no matter when they are.

    • Brian Cohen says

I forwarded your question in order to get a definitive answer, JoAnn Petersen.

      Thank you for asking.

    • Randy Petersen says

The email was not designed to identify a specific country, rather it was designed to note the location of the website, especially for the local language each offers. Fact is that our fellow flyers from Canada have long been a part of InsideFlyer and count on being a very strong #2 in the residency of our membership base (see below). We enjoy having the world as members and all members are eligible to win and use the prizes and benefits subject to specific locations of some of the prizes. For instance, todays Gogo passes include use on Air Canada. We’re glad to have you and even more pleased to wish you good luck during our 12 Days of Christmas. Cheers.

      Country
      1. United States
      2. Canada
      3. United Kingdom
      4. Australia
      5. Germany
      6. India
      7. Singapore
      8. Netherlands
      9. France
      10. Brazil

    • Brian Cohen says

Last year, the winners were posted by Randy Petersen in the forums on InsideFlyer.

I have not seen a posting yet for this year…

    • Randy Petersen says

List of winners with a prize recap coming right up. We’re waiting confirmation from a few people first and we may not always be able to publish the winners ‘name’. For some we only have their email address which they registered for the daily prize with and we never will publish that in public. But winners there are and they seem to be very happy winners at that.

  3. Penelope says

The 12 Days of Christmas are those which start on Christmas day and continue to include the 5th of January. This is from which we get the title to one of Shakespeare’s plays, “Twelfth Night.”
