Delta Changes Cabins and Upgrades

Delta Changes Cabins and Upgrades

Beginning March 1, 2015, Delta will rename cabin choices to include Basic Economy, Main Cabin, Delta Comfort Plus (on all two cabin aircraft), first class (on short-haul international and domestic routes) and DeltaOne (formerly BusinessElite on long-haul international flights and between New York JFK and Los Angeles or San Francisco). Delta Comfort Plus will feature up to four inches more legroom compared to Main Cabin seating, dedicated overhead baggage space and Delta Comfort Plus passengers will receive complimentary beer, wine and spirits as well as snacks on domestic flights greater than 900 miles. Delta recently and very quietly removed the benefit that provided Gold Medallion members seated in economy with a “Have One Drink On Us” drink voucher at check-in. Additionally, as of March 1, 2015 Gold Medallion members will no longer receive access to Delta Comfort Plus until 72 hours prior to departure.
