US Airways Oneworld Offer

US Airways Oneworld Offer

US Airways is now a member of the oneworld alliance and Dividend Miles members can earn up to 25,000 bonus miles for travel on oneworld airlines through June 30, 2014.

Each partner airline counts only once, so the number of bonus miles you earn is dependent on the number of oneworld airlines you fly. You must fly a minimum of two partners to earn any bonus miles. Members earn in the following ways: two oneworld airlines = 500 bonus miles; three = 2,500 bonus miles; four = 5,000 bonus miles; five = 15,000 bonus miles and six or more = the maximum 25,000 bonus miles.

The following airlines and their affiliates are eligible for the bonus miles: Air Berlin, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar Airways, Royal Jordanian, S7 Airlines, TAM and all eligible oneworld affiliate carriers. You must register for the promotion to earn the bonus miles. Note that flights on US Airways do not count toward this bonus and flights marketed by a oneworld partner airline, but operated by another airline that is not part of oneworld, are not eligible to receive bonus miles. Also, don’t forget to include your Dividend Miles number when booking the flights.

Bottom line: This bonus offer is certainly worth a quick online registration if you plan to fly at least two oneworld partner airlines by the end of June, or even worth a registration if you don’t have plans, just in case travel comes up that you hadn’t planned.
