The Shangri-La at The Shard has opened as of last month. It’s on the south bank of the Thames by London Bridge Station and is London’s first highrise hotel. It features 202 rooms and suites as well as the Gong bar, swimming pool and 24-hour fitness gym on level 52, Ting restaurant on level 35 and an artisan deli, called Lang, on the ground floor. The hotel belongs to the Collection G, which requires 20,000 GC award points for a standard room redemption for one night stay. Award stays for this hotel are expected to start from this Summer.
