Virgin Australia is offering Velocity members in Australia and New Zealand the ultimate upgrade into “Space Class” with a chance to win a trip into space aboard SpaceShipTwo.

Entry in the contest is only open to Australia and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over who are Velocity frequent flyer members. To enter, Velocity members must register HERE by June 30, 2014 and explain what you would do for an upgrade to “Space Class”; plus, fly Virgin Australia between May 1 and June 30, 2014.

Submissions will be judged by Aug. 1, 2014 and the entrant with the most creative submission will be selected as the winner.

INSIDE|Point: The two and a half hour flight to the edge of outer space will include four minutes of weightlessness as SpaceShipTwo reaches its apex at 360,000 feet above the Earth’s surface. If you have dreamed of traveling to space, this is a great opportunity. If you were purchasing a flight on SpaceShipTwo, the cost would be $250,000. The price recently went up from $200,000.
