United Airlines has opened a new Global Services reception lobby at Newark Liberty International Airport for its top frequent flyers offering personalized check-in and travel services for invitation-only Global Services members and customers traveling on long-haul international flights in United Global First. The reception area provides direct access to four newly constructed security lanes, which can be used either as TSA PreCheck lanes or standard lanes for customers who are not PreCheck-eligible, depending on demand.

These top members will also now have access United’s Mercedes tarmac transportation service when connections are tight, similar to the service available in Houston and Chicago.

Bottom line: United says that the expanded number of security lines will expedite the screening for all passengers.
