Hilton HHonors members can earn up to 9,000 points with the Weekend Rewards promotion for stays between Feb. 1 and April 30, 2014.

The name of the promotion is a bit of a misnomer because HHonors members get 1,000 bonus points every night they stay during the promotional period (not just weekends) with an additional 5,000 bonus points for a weekend stay of two nights or more. A weekend stay is defined as Thursday through Sunday night. There is no limit to the number of bonus points earned during the promotion period; however, you may only earn one 5,000-point bonus per qualifying weekend stay. Bottom line: You can earn 9,000 points in one extended weekend. For example, stay Wednesday through Saturday, and you’ll earn 1,000 bonus points for each night’s stay, which is 4,000 bonus points, and you will also get 5,000 bonus points because you spent two consecutive days over the weekend (any two consecutive days Thursday through Sunday) for a total 9,000 bonus points.
