Marriott Rewards has launched its Unexpected Bonus promotion that looks remarkably similar to its recurring MegaBonus offers. Members who register by July 31, 2013 and stay twice at participating hotels between May 15 and Sept. 2, 2013 can receive a free night. Members can earn up to two free nights, which can be redeemed at Category 1 to Category 5 hotels worldwide.

Bottom line: As usual, members may receive different offers than the standard offer. Some members will be able to earn up to three free nights at Category 1 to 4 hotels and other members may receive an offer to earn bonus points after staying a specific number of nights.
