GO Airport Express, a Chicago-based ground transportation provider, conducted a survey of flyers in February of this year and found that a small percentage are opting to use their miles more often for hotel stays compared to the previous year. In 2012, six percent reported using their miles for hotel stays compared to eight percent in 2013. Using miles for airline tickets remained the first choice, with 87 percent, down one percent from 2012.
