American Airlines newly expanded partnership with WestJet includes reciprocal frequent flyer earning benefits. American AAdvantage and WestJet Rewards members can earn AAdvantage miles or WestJet dollars when flying on either airline. AAdvantage members can earn 100 percent base miles on eligible published fares on WestJet, a Canadian low-cost carrier that flies within Canada and between Canada and the U.S., Caribbean and Mexico. WestJet Rewards members can earn between $3 and $15 per flight on American Airlines, depending on the distance flown and fare class.
