Frontier Blackout Dates

Frontier Blackout Dates

While most airlines these days no longer have blackout dates for award travel, Frontier Airlines was one of the few that continued to reserve some of their most popular travel days for paying passengers only. Now, the airline has eliminated blackout dates so members can redeem miles for award flights on any day. Capacity controls, however, still exist so chances are you’ll be paying 45,000 miles for a CHOICE award to travel on days that were previously considered blackout dates. But if you really need to fly on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and want to redeem miles, it’s nice that EarlyReturns no longer has restrictions on what days you can fly with miles.
