IHG and Barclaycard

InterContinental Hotels Group partners with Barclaycard in the U.K. to offer the Priority Club Rewards Visa and now Priority Club members can earn points for purchases with a new Black Visa card issued by Barclaycard. Members earn double points with the Black Visa, which amounts to four points per #1 spent at IHG hotels (compared to the two points per #1 spent with the standard Visa) and two points per #1 spent everywhere else. Plus, cardholders who spend over #10,000 per year on the card will receive an annual free night voucher that can be used at over 4,400 properties. New cardholders can receive a sign-up bonus of 20,000 points after making a purchase within the first three months. The card has a #99 annual fee (not waived the first year). The Priority Club Rewards Visa has no annual fee but members earn half as many points and the card does not include an annual free night certificate.
