Choice Privileges members who stay twice at participating Choice Hotels will receive 8,000 points, which can be redeemed for a $50 gas, dining or shopping gift card. Members can earn 8,000 points on every second stay completed between May 17 and Aug. 15, 2012. Stays at MainStay Suites, Suburban Extended Stay, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn locations must be a minimum of two consecutive nights. There is no minimum night requirement at Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Sleep Inn, Clarion, Cambria Suites or Ascend Collection hotels.

The offer is only open to Choice Privileges members residing in the U.S. and Canada who register at choicehotels.com before their first stay. And only members earning points with this promotion are eligible to redeem their 8,000 points for a $50 gift card until Sept. 30, 2012. A $50 gift card normally requires 16,000 points. Members can also choose to keep the points and redeem them for hotel stays, which start at 6,000 points. There are over 1,500 Choice hotels with award nights at 8,000 points or less. Regular members must make reservations at choicehotels.com or (800) 424-6423 to be eligible for the promotion. Elite Diamond and Platinum members can book through any channel and still receive the 8,000 points.

All members who make reservations with their mobile device at m.choicehotels.com will receive 500 bonus points per stay through May 15, 2012. You must book within 48 hours of arrival to earn the bonus.
