Virgin Atlantic Flying Club regularly offers award sales and through May 31, 2012, members can redeem two award seats for the price of one. Discounted seats start at 29,500 miles for a roundtrip coach ticket between the U.K. and New York City. Fly between Boston or Washington Dulles and the U.K. for 38,500 miles. Other destinations include Miami at 45,000 miles and Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver (valid through Oct. 27, 2012) or Cancun (valid through July 3, 2012) for 47,500 miles.

Bottom line: While the seats are cheap, the taxes and fees are not. Members will have to pay around $540 per ticket to book one of these seats.
