SkyTeam SkyPriority

SkyTeam SkyPriority

SkyTeam has introduced SkyPriority, priority airport services offered to Elite Plus, first and business class customers of SkyTeam member airlines. The roll-out of the program begins this month (March) at selected hub airports followed by implementation at 800+ stations in the next few months, reaching over 1,000 airports by early 2013. The goal of SkyPriority is to offer a consistent service standard across the alliance and the program will offer customers priority in check-in areas, baggage drop off, airport ticket offices, transfer desks, security lines (where available) and baggage handling.

Founding SkyTeam member Delta Air Lines introduced SkyPriority to their customers in 2010 and now SkyTeam has adopted their model throughout the global airline alliance. A SkyPriority indicator will be displayed on eligible passengers’ boarding passes. Some of the first airports where you will find SkyPriority are Amsterdam, Atlanta, Guangzhou, Nairobi, Shanghai and Taipei. Following this initial roll-out, additional SkyPriority benefits will be introduced in the future. Visit http://www.skyteam.com to keep up with the news from the alliance.
