Continental and United MileagePlus elite members will soon be invited to join the TSA’s PreCheck program, which allows pre-approved passengers a quicker route through security lines at select airports. PreCheck participants do not need to remove their shoes, belts or coats at designated airport checkpoints. Since the program launched a few months ago, only Delta and American Airlines frequent flyers have been able to take advantage of PreCheck in Atlanta, Dallas, Detroit and Miami. The program will expand to Las Vegas, Minneapolis and Los Angeles this year and first class and elite passengers on Continental and United will have access to the PreCheck program.
