New AA Card for the U.K.

New AA Card for the U.K.

American Airlines has launched a new AAdvantage credit card product for customers in the U.K. The account includes two co-branded credit cards, one a Visa and the other an American Express card. Even though there are two cards, customers will have one account and one credit limit. New cardmembers will receive 10,000 bonus AAdvantage miles when making their first purchase on either card within 90 days of opening the account. For the first six months of owning the cards, cardholders will earn double miles on every #1 spent when using either card for fuel purchases in U.K. petrol stations, purchases at any U.K. supermarket or directly with American Airlines. For all other purchases, you’ll earn 1.5 miles for every #1 spent with the AAdvantage American Express Credit Card from MBNA or 1.5 AAdvantage miles for every #2 spent with the AAdvantage Visa Credit Card. Exclusive promotions will also be offered to cardmembers. Both are contactless-enabled cards. To learn more and to apply for the cards, visit http://www.aa.com/uk/mbna
