Bottom line: MileagePlus members who join Exclusive Resorts can also receive an upgrade in their MileagePlus elite status; for example, from Premier to Premier Executive, but a few mileage runs are a less expensive way to climb the elite ladder. Annual memberships to the luxury destination club start at $110,000 per year or you can pay dues according to the number of days you expect to travel. The annual dues start at $10,450 for 10 days. The elite status benefit is available to members who purchase a 30-day annual plan (or longer).
