Eurostar, the high-speed passenger rail service between the U.K. and mainland Europe, has launched a free app for iPhone and Android devices that allows passengers to book and manage journeys between the U.K. and Paris, Brussels and Lille. When booking your journey through the app, you will immediately receive a mobile ticket with an electronic barcode to be scanned at check-in. Members of Eurostar Frequent Traveller and Eurostar Plus Points can use the app to earn points when you book and you can view your points balance. Other functions of the app include live service updates and the ability to store details such as your seating preference.
