The Island Air Cloud 9 frequent flyer program now awards miles instead of points. In an email sent to members, Island Air said that they’ve had many inquiries about the change but that they “want to assure you that aside from the accrual credits now displaying in miles, nothing else has changed.” For every full-fare flight flown, members will earn 500 miles and the existing points have been converted into miles (seven points equals 3,500 miles).
