Starwood Preferred Guest members will receive one free night at a resort for every three stays completed between May 1 and July 31, 2011. Members can earn free nights by staying at any of Starwood’s over 1,000 properties participating in the SPG program and the free night can be redeemed at over 200 resorts worldwide any day of the week through Dec. 21, 2011. There is no limit to the number of free nights members can earn. Registration is required by June 30 at spg.com/getawayfree and you can view a list of resorts available for redemption at http://spg.com/getawayfree/resorts – Free nights can be used for stays at all category 1-6 resorts with standard rooms, plus the category 7 St. Regis Punta Mita, Mexico.

Bottom line: This promotion is worth a mattress run, especially if you already have planned a few two-night stays–staying one additional day will get you a free night in a resort. Also of note is that there is no limit to the number of free nights you can earn. Plan carefully to stay before the Dec. 21 free stay deadline.
