US Airways Dividend Miles has a new buy or share miles bonus. From now through May 14, 2011, share miles with another member and the recipient will receive a 75 percent bonus, up to 50,000 bonus miles, on your first transaction. You will only receive the bonus for one transaction per member. Miles are shared for $0.01 per mile plus a $30 processing fee and 7.5 percent tax. For example, you can pay $50 ($83.75 total) to share 5,000 miles with a friend or family member, who will receive 8,750 miles with the bonus.

Also through May 14, 2011, US Airways credit cardholders can buy miles at a 50 percent discount. The discount offer only applies to your first purchase made during the promotion and members can buy up to 50,000 miles with this offer. Miles cost $0.0275 per mile plus a 7.5 percent tax. Bottom line: US Airways has been offering 100 percent bonus offers on buying miles for months now, although there have been different variations on the theme.
