Beginning Jan. 3, 2011, Starwood Preferred Guest members can sign-up for the latest SPG promo, Great Weeks, Grand Weekends. From Jan. 3 through April 15, 2011 members can earn double points on all nights plus an additional 500 bonus points for every Thursday, Friday, Saturday, or Sunday night during their stays. For example, a member who spends $400 for a three-night weekend stay will earn double points (four points per dollar spent instead of two) plus an extra 1,500 bonus points for a total of 3,100 points. There is no maximum number of points members can earn and the promotion is open to all new and existing members who register at spg.com/greatweeks by March 31, 2011.
