Boingo Wireless has launched a “Miles of Smiles” campaign to raise mileage donations to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Boingo will match donations from Continental OnePass, United Mileage Plus, US Airways Dividend Miles and AirTran Airways A+ Rewards members who donate their miles (or credits) to the Make-A-Wish Foundation at http://www.boingo.com/make-a-wish – Boingo will match donations from these participating mileage programs one-for-one with Delta SkyMiles, up to 500,000 SkyMiles.
Plus, if you sign up for Boingo Unlimited wireless service by Nov. 15, 2010, Boingo will donate 100 SkyMiles in your name to Make-A-Wish. Boingo Unlimited has a monthly fee of $9.95 and offers members unlimited WiFi access at wireless hotspots throughout the Americas, including airport hotspots. Boingo describes itself as a “network of networks” that allows users to access the networks of other WiFi providers, including AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, for one monthly fee.
