Amtrak Guest Rewards members traveling in the Northeast Corridor this summer can earn up to 9,000 bonus points for train travel. Through Sept. 4, 2010, members who travel on Acela will earn 3,000 bonus points for every three roundtrips or six one- way trips, up to 9,000 bonus points. To be eligible for the bonus, a minimum spend of $80 per one-way trip on Acela or $160 roundtrip is required.

Through Sept. 4, Amtrak Guest Rewards members can earn 1,500 bonus points for every two roundtrips or four one-way trips on Northeast Regional, up to 4,500 bonus points. Registration is required online or mention registration code 70210 when registering over the phone. A minimum spend of $40 per one-way trip or $80 roundtrip is required. For both promotions, be sure to include your membership number when making reservations. There is a limit of two qualifying trips per day (one roundtrip or two one-ways).
