Hilton’s Jeff Diskin, senior vice president for global customer marketing, was recently interviewed by Nicholas Kralev for ON THE FLY and had some interesting things to say about Hilton HHonors. Diskin says the company may create another status level above Diamond to try to stem the tide of members who hit Diamond mid-year and then move to another hotel to earn status there, although no decision has yet been made. “For those looking for another milestone to hit, if we can find a way to create some new great rewards for them, we’ll give them some new targets,” he said. “We are not going to devalue what Diamond offers–we would create something better.”
