Aeroplan members can now redeem miles for ClassicFlight one-way awards online at Aeroplan.com. Members have been able to redeem for one-way ClassicFlight award tickets since May 2009 but until now, members were required to call the service center (and incur a CAD$30 fee). ClassicFlight one-way awards are available for one-half of a roundtrip ticket and start at 10,000 miles for a short-haul flight within Canada and the U.S.

Craig Landry, Senior Vice President, Commercial, Aeroplan, said that over a third of one-way awards redeemed through the service center last year “were booked within 14 days prior to departure. This kind of flexibility is important to our members and we’re pleased to make it even easier for them to travel when and where they want to go.”
