Passengers on American Airlines can now check-in online for international flights. The online check-in process previously was available only on domestic itineraries. International travelers can check-in online from two to 24 hours prior to departure as long as the first flight on your itinerary is operated by American Airlines, American Eagle or AmericanConnection.

Only tickets issued electronically are eligible and international passengers must have their passport information, emergency contact phone number and meet certain international flight requirements.
