Finnair Plus has undergone several changes to the program. Elite members will now earn flight bonuses based on their status: Silver members will earn 10 percent more points; Gold, 15 percent more and Platinum, 25 percent more.

Points from Feb. 1, 2010, onwards will be valid for three years (down from five years). Points earned up to Jan. 31, 2010 will still be valid for five years. Points can also now be transferred between accounts of family members in the same household and members can now exchange their Finnair Plus award points for tier points–15,000 Plus award points can be exchanged for 5,000 tier points to help you reach elite status.
