For the holidays, for every 5,000 miles donated by Dividend Miles members, US Airways contributed 1,000 miles, up to 25,000 miles, to four nonprofit organizations. Through Miles of Hope, Dividend Miles members can donate to The American Red Cross, Mercy Medical Airlift, Fisher House Foundation or Make-A-Wish Foundation. Since Miles of Hope began in 1998, members have donated over 600 million miles–the equivalent of about 12,000 domestic roundtrip flights.
