We’ve seen some interesting mileage redemption offers over the years but the newest addition to Finnair Plus’ mileage awards goes way beyond the normal hotel, car rental and merchandise awards. Finnair Plus members can now redeem miles for plastic surgery, including hair replacement surgery, breast implants or a face lift. Breast augmentation at the Nordstrom Hospital for Plastic Surgery in Helsinki, Finland is available for 3,1800,000 points. To earn that many points, a traveler would need to fly around 120 roundtrip flights in business class between Helsinki and New York or around 481 roundtrip flights in coach. Mikko Tuomainen, Finnair’s director of loyalty programs, said in a telephone interview with Bloomberg that, “The idea was to incorporate partners and services from all walks of life.”
