All passengers on Cathay Pacific can now reserve exit row seats in advance–for a fee. Before the fee was introduced, exit row seats were reserved for Marco Polo Club elite members and passengers in the highest booking classes. Cathay Pacific customers can now reserve an exit row seat on long-haul flights for $100 per segment and Asia Miles members can redeem 20,000 miles for an “upgrade” to an exit row seat. The seats are available on flights to Mainland China and regional destinations for $25 or 5,000 miles. Marco Polo Club elite members (Silver tier and above) can request an exit row seat at no charge but this benefit is not extended to traveling companions, spouse or oneworld members.
